How BeepMe takes care of your data.
This policy explains what data BeepMe collects, how it is used and what choices you have. Please read it carefully before using the app.
1. Who we are
BeepMe AI is developed by Aristarch Software SRL, Romania. For support and data questions: contact@softok.ro.
2. Local data and online features
Organizer data is managed in the app on your device. AI and weather features require an internet connection. Backup and sync options are limited to those explicitly available in your installed version. Device storage is different from sending data to a server for an online feature.
3. AI chat and task generation
When you use AI chat, the conversation messages supplied by the app are sent to the BeepMe server and then to OpenAI to generate a reply. Task generation sends the goal and project name. The server does not automatically read all your notes, passwords or app database. Do not put passwords, card details or unnecessary sensitive information in the chat.
4. Weather and location
The city or location supplied to the weather feature is processed through the BeepMe server. The service uses Visual Crossing and, as a fallback, Open-Meteo for city lookup and forecasts. Coordinates returned by the city lookup may be sent to the forecast service.
5. Payments and subscription
Subscription purchases and restoration are handled through Apple. The reviewed API endpoints do not receive card numbers or bank account details. Payment records you enter in the organizer are separate from payment for the subscription.
6. Servers, providers and retention
The BeepMe API implementation does not explicitly save AI conversations or goals in files or a database. To limit abuse, the server stores request counts and window start times associated with a hash of the IP address. The counter window is one hour; this does not mean the file is automatically deleted after one hour. Hosting infrastructure may have its own technical logs. Processing and retention by OpenAI and weather providers are subject to their service terms. We do not promise that no provider retains transmitted data.
7. Your controls and contact
Manage local data using the app and iOS options. For requests to access, correct or delete data processed by the operator, email contact@softok.ro and describe the feature used. Do not include passwords or card details in support requests.
8. Updates
This page describes the data flows implemented by the current BeepMe API. Online features and this policy will be updated if these flows change. Last updated: October 10, 2026.
